A private-hire data & operations practice.
Street Cars Data Services is a single-sector practice based in Swords, Co. Dublin, working with private hire operators across IRL, the UK, and internationally.
Built for one sector. Tuned to it.
Street Cars Data Services works exclusively with private hire operators. The five services we run — data facilitation, dispatch, call centre, offshore handling, telephone numbers — are the operational layers that determine whether a fleet scales smoothly or gets bogged down by infrastructure that doesn't grow with it.
We're not a generalist software house dipping into transport. The accumulated knowledge across years of private hire engagements is what justifies the price of the engagement; it shows up in the small things — what to integrate first, which dispatch quirks to plan around, which compliance flags actually move the needle on a licensing review.
Every engagement begins with a clear assessment, a roadmap that the operator's own team can read without a glossary, and reporting that ties activity to outcomes rather than to vanity metrics.
What we believe.
Industry-only
We work exclusively with private hire fleets. The depth across that single sector is what justifies the engagement.
Operational realism
Recommendations are grounded in fleet operations, not vendor datasheets. We say what works, what doesn’t, and why.
Audit-ready by default
Encryption, access controls, and compliance scaffolding ship with the platform — not retrofitted at the eleventh hour.
Long horizon
Tooling we deploy is engineered for long-term maintainability rather than short-term shine.
How the practice grew.
- 2015
Practice founded in Swords, Co. Dublin to fill the back-end data gap most private hire operators were hitting at scale.
- 2018
Dispatch tier rolled out to multi-depot operators in Ireland and the UK; first 1,000-vehicle fleet onboarded.
- 2021
Offshore call-handling tier added to support overnight cover without staffing surcharge.
- 2024
Number provisioning consolidated under a single platform with redundant carrier infrastructure.
A short conversation is usually enough to know whether we're the right fit.
Tell us what you operate and what you're trying to fix. We'll come back inside the working day.
